How do I convince my mother I'm not pregnant?

My period is late, my mum is sure it is because I am pregnant because she only found out that I lost my virginity the other day, and it came as a big shock to her. I had recently recovered from glandular fever and I am sure that my period is late because of the antibiotics and illness I've had, but she won't see it that way. How do I convince her?
