My cat is twitching in his sleep very badly. Is he having a bad dream?

He tends to sleep very awkwardly, on his back sprawled out like he owns the bed haha. His paws and his mouth twitches occasionaly. Does this mean hes having a bad dream? Should I wake him? Sometimes when he twitches he wakes up and rolls over.
