My 8 year old dog doesn't sleep on his new bed.?

I have an 8 year old miniature shnauzer and I recently got a bed for him at TJ Maxx. He only rests his head on it and leaves the rest of his body sprawled on the floor. He's only fully slept in it once which was this morning before I went to work.
