My dog has had diarrhea for 3days, not interested in water. not in distress. recent surg. obstrctn/peritonitis?

had surgery 1month ago for obstruction and peritonitis. has recovered well but started having diarrhea 3days ago. today not interested in water. any ideas till i can get him to vet tonight??
