How come we listen to some things in the bible but disregard others?

There is nothing credible about any of the Bible verses you have presented or any other Bible verses for that matter. Not one is original. It's all obvious rhetoric previously written or spoken by a hodge-podge of cultures that could be easily concluded without much critical thinking. Considering that collective society is gradually moving away from religion, the Bible will be 100% obsolete in 100 years or less.
