Australia ban cattle entering Indonesia?

Do you think it was a good thing that Australia stepped up and prohibited more oncoming cattle entering Indonesia due to their barbarism to the cattle? Instead of the electric shock, they use cuts to the throat, making it suffer before its death. I know this has an effect on australias economy but still...what are your views on this whole thing?
