Should my parents let me get a horse?
I understand horses are ALOT of work. Honestly, I know they cost a bunch, but that isn't our issue. We could handle that. We live on a BIG farm with cattle and hay everywhere, so space isn't the issue either. Its safeness. My mom grew up with horses and loves them, but swears I will get hurt. And dad is just down to the bone farmer. Real into cattle and would love a horse, I think, which he won't admit directly. Its just "you get hurt once and no more softball...no more basketball." All that. What are the chances of that happening? If we got one it would be an old, gentle, gelding. Is it worth a shot? I had a pony when I was smaller but my dad let it around while a rode. Talk about temper. But I personally have three dogs and take care of them. I am VERY responsible. Is it worth asking them again?
